From Nov. 6-10, Leander ISD is celebrating the district’s school psychologists during National School Psychology Week.

This year’s National School Psychology Week theme is “Let’s Grow Together,” which spotlights the importance of both personal and collective strengths to grow as individuals and school communities.

“As school psychologists we identify student strengths to develop support plans that address learning and behavioral needs,” LISD Lead School Psychologist Mary Beth Pinnell said. “We teach students with identified disabilities these skills to reach their academic goals and to lead more independent lives. We team up with teachers, administrators, counselors, and families to improve student mental health in school and beyond.”
