Senior Isabella Melchor at Vandegrift High School is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week.
Isabella is part of the CTE Business Management program at Vandegrift and the president of the Women in Entrepreneurship club. The club invites female entrepreneurs to visit and share their insight and business experience with the students in the club. She is also a member of the ACCELerator team, Kapop, which makes flavored microwavable popcorn.
“Bella is an excellent student. She’s bright, a strong leader and an all-around great person,” Business and Marketing Teacher Erin Lucas said. “I can’t wait to see where her future career in business takes her.”
