It’s that time of year when the district begins reviewing the current academic calendar and finalizing the academic calendar for the upcoming school year. As we work to finalize the 2026-2027 academic calendar, input from our #1LISD community is essential to ensure the calendar best reflects the needs of everyone in our district.

Below are two ways you can share your feedback. You’re welcome to participate in both options. Our goal is to gather as much input as possible to help guide our decision-making process.

Option 1: Online Survey

Complete the Academic Calendar Survey. The survey will close Dec. 2, 2025.

Option 2: Community Listening Sessions

We will hold two listening sessions, one in person and another via Google Meets.

  • Via Zoom: Monday, Nov. 3, at 6 p.m. (click to RSVP*)
    *After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with information about joining the meeting. 
  • In Person: Tuesday, Nov. 11, at 6 p.m. (no RSVP needed)
