Leander ISD is proud to congratulate Rouse High Schoolโs Rachel De Marco for being named the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
An outstanding musician and a leader in Rouse ensembles, Rachel earned a superior rating at the UIL State Solo Contest in May. The senior is a leader and dance captain in Rouseโs competitive show choir, IntoneNation, and a member of the Varsity Mixed Choir. Academically, Rachel takes multiple AP classes and maintains a high grade point average while excelling in choir.
โI am so honored to have Rachel as a part of our program,โ Rouse Choir Director Brenda Justice said. โShe inspires me and her peers to be better musicians and kind, loving people. She has a servant heart and is willing to go above and beyond in all aspects of her life.โ
