Leander ISD is proud to announce Vista Ridge High School senior Greer Geracci as the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Greer is a captain of the Ranger varsity football team, as well as a varsity track participant. In addition to his role as team captain, Greer has been on the football leadership council for the past two years. In the game against Rouse High School, Greer was named the Outstanding Lineman of the Week.
A member of the National Honor Society, Greer commits time outside of football and school to multiple community service projects that honor the Ranger Program’s core values of family, character and relentless effort.
“We are so fortunate to have someone of Greer’s character leading as an example to others both on and off the field,” Vista Ridge Offensive Coordinator Todd Brown said. “He is one of the hard working, most dedicated athletes in our program.
