Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Steven Smith is a little fish taking a big bite out of music!
In his first year in Leander High School’s choir, Steven has managed to make connections with rookie and veteran choir members alike. At the very start, his strength in leadership stood out, voted tenor section leader and serving in that role with ease. Steven also auditioned and was chosen for a vocal solo during the Winter Concert.
“Steven works very hard in class and succeeds in trying out for every opportunity in choir that comes his way! That’s amazing for a first-year choir member, if you ask me.” Leander High School assistant choir director Rob Saldaña said.
