Eighth Grader Isis Choate at Wiley Middle School is the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Isis has fully engaged in the campus life at Wiley, participating in art, C2 club and color guard. Throughout her many extracurriculars, she pushes herself to understand new concepts, supports her peers and uses any extra time she has to assist with the library and art room displays.
“Isis is a hardworking, creative thinker on campus,” Wiley art teacher Heather Ledemsa- Robbins said. “She pushes herself out of her comfort zone in order to learn new skills and create elaborate masterpieces in the art room.”
