Pitch perfect in all her pursuits, Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Maya Reddy is showcasing savvy & smarts!

As a Leander Middle School student, the eighth-grader has made choir her passion. She has spent the last two years as a member of the LMS Varsity Treble Choir and All-Region Choir. Also dedicated to LMS Theatre, Maya somehow finds time to become a global finalist with the LMS Destination Imagination team and a state finalist in the 2021 PTA Reflections competition. And that’s not all. Outside of school, Maya dances competitively and takes piano lessons.

“Maya has displayed her talents as a gifted musician since joining the LMS choir in the 6th grade!” Tiger choir director Grant Easdon said. “Involved in so many middle school activities, Maya is also kind, funny, dedicated and wicked smart! Thank you for your hard work, Maya! Keep it up!”

Maya is also a member of the Junior National Young Leaders (JrNYL) and takes part in the Duke University’s Talented Identification Program (TIP). Seeing her complete all of this hard work virtually this year is inspiring!

Virtually unstoppable, we’re singing her praises, Maya Reddy–Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
