Leander ISD is proud to honor Rouse High School’s Grayson Gower as the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.

Grayson, a sophomore member of the RHS Rouse Theatre Varsity Tech Crew, has been a part of the Rouse Theatre department for two years and was recently appointed Assistant Technical Director and Head of Crew for the Rouse Musical.

The multiple award-winning Rouse musical is a production led by the theatre department and includes students from across multiple Rouse extracurricular departments, including choir, Royals, band, cheer and athletics. The production includes a cast and crew of over 120 students.

Grayson serves as a technician for all theatre productions and assists with other performing arts departments and activities. He is always the first person to volunteer for any group in need of technical assistance. Outside of theatre, Grayson has also played league soccer for six years.

“Though only a sophomore, Grayson has quickly developed into a vital and revered member of our Rouse Theatre family,” said Brittany Baugh, Rouse Technical Theatre Director. “His initiative and bright personality make him a natural and respected leader among his peers. He is a true go-getter and someone who encompasses all the best characteristics of a quality theatre technician. “

Congratulations to Rouse High School’s Grayson Gower, the LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
