Parents asked some great questions about the status of other district-wide issues like zoning, triple bell schedule and hazardous routes. We also discussed the launch of our Remote Learning Parenting Hub, which went live Monday.
While we wanted to use Episode 3 to focus on resources for families, we also wanted to make the most of this time to connect with students. We interviewed a Pleasant Hill student with some pro-tips on mindfulness, and we also heard an amazing performance from a high school senior.
This is a great way to stay connected with LISD Superintendent Bruce Gearing, Ed.D and the district leadership team as we continue to focus on relationships with families and students. While phase II of distance learning brings a new set of expectations, we want to make sure first, you’re getting the right information and second, you’re getting the resources you need.
