Leander ISD Early College High School (ECHS) is now accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year. ECHS is a great option for 8th-grade students who would benefit from obtaining their high school diploma while also earning an associate degree tuition-free. Leander ISD’s Early College High School makes this possible through the district’s partnership with Austin Community College at the San Gabriel Campus.
ECHS combines high expectations, academic rigor through inquiry-based instruction, and individualized student support to prepare our scholars for academic success.
Scholars for the school’s fourth cohort will be selected through a blind lottery process later in the spring for incoming 2025-26 9th-graders. The deadline to apply is Friday, March 14, 2025.
