From the District:
Based on the weather forecast that is predicted for Thursday, we have made the decision to adjust the Middle School District track & field meet schedule.
We will compete on Wednesday ONLY with all field events and running events being Finals ONLY. Running events will be reseeded based on seed times (slowest to fastest). Coach Hunt will send a follow-up email with information regarding entries, seed times, and updated/finalized meet programs.
All spectator parking will be at Gupton Stadium, as school will still be in session at Vista Ridge High School.
Below is the updated schedule for Wednesday, March 26th:
2:00 pm – All field events and 2400m run begin
4:00 pm – Running Finals on a rolling schedule
4x100M Relay
800M Run
100M Hurdles (7th & 8th Girls Only)
110M Hurdles (7th & 8th Boys Only)
100M Dash
4x200M Relay
400M Dash
300M Hurdles
200M Dash
1600M Run – (Waterfall Start)
4x400M Relay
We understand that there might be some overlap with field events and running events, coaches working field events, please accommodate our athletes if they are in various events. In order to help us run an efficient and safe event, please ensure athletes are prepared for their events and expectations for athletes and spectators are communicated.
As you know, in order to pull an event like this off, we will need everyone to pitch in and help in various areas. We appreciate your work and assistance. to make this a fantastic district meet.
