Launch to Learning 2020-21 updates are ongoing and subject to change as we continue to navigate opening the 2020-21 school year in Leander ISD. Please visit this article for the latest FAQs and information.
As we prepare for the 2020-21 school year, we will be hosting a new series of webinars covering the on-going Launch to Learning 2020-21 planning.
While we will conduct all of the webinars on Zoom, they will all be available live and on-demand via the district’s YouTube channel as the Zoom limits attendance to 500. Both platforms offer closed captioning and attendees to the Zoom will have the ability to hear a Spanish version of the webinar.
For all teachers and staff, we will be hosting our webinar on Monday, July 20 at 4 p.m. Please register here, visit our YouTube channel to watch live or after the event, or come back to this article to access the video. We will be using our #launchtolearning2020 Slack channel to collect questions and engage before and during the employee webinar.
For parents, families, and students, we will be hosting two webinars specific to topics, both on Wednesday, July 22. The webinars will be:
- Virtual Empowered Learning – hear details and ask questions about our revamped, at-home learning program for the 2020-21 school year from 3:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m. Register in Zoom here and leave questions or comments in our ThoughtExchange.
- In-Person Services and Safety – hear details and ask questions about what in-person learning or services will look like for the 2020-21 school year from 5 p.m. – 6 p.m. Register in Zoom here and leave questions or comments in our ThoughtExchange.
These webinars follow the July 16 Board of Trustees meeting and the July 17 community update on Launch to Learning 2020-21, which will include a detailed plan for the start of the school year.
