Vandegrift High School senior Arjun Nair is the Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week.
Arjun is in the Veterinary Science Pathway program at VHS and is an active participant in the Vandegrift Future Farmers of America (FFA) Chapter. He competes on the Vet Science Team, raises sheep, has recently invested time on the Chapter Conducting Team and enthusiastically volunteers whenever and wherever there is a need. He is currently participating in the Vet Science Practicum experience and working at a local veterinary office.
VHS agricultural science teacher Shannon Tidwell said that despite having a tough ending to the last school year, Arjun has jumped back into school with a readiness to achieve great things.
“I have been so impressed by the hard work and drive that Arjun has shown this year,” Tidwell said. “He is the definition of a team player and strives to help his fellow members in any way that he can.”
