CTE Student of the Week: May 10, 2022

Taking it to the next level! Leander ISD Career & Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week Steven Homan is speeding toward excellence.

Steven participates in the entrepreneurship program ACCELerator. The Vista Ridge High School senior’s team created a business Traverse. The app-based rental marketplace helps connect people to products. Steven met weekly with his counterpart at Cedar Park High School’s MobileMakers program. Their partnership created a collaborative effort to program the app.

“Steven personifies the grit that’s necessary to be a successful entrepreneur in today’s society,” Vista Ridge High School ACCELerator Teacher Dane Jones said.
