Senior Rylie Lockerman at Vandegrift High School is the Leander ISD Career and Technical Education Student of the Week.
Rylie is a student in the Advanced Journalism: News Media III course. She is also one of two multimedia editors for the award-winning Vandegrift Voice online news site. She spearheaded the development of the department after previously writing articles and also taking AV Production. She has taken measures to expand the news site to include video, podcasting and interactive elements.
