This week, Leander ISD proudly celebrates Instructional Coach Appreciation Week, recognizing the invaluable contributions of instructional coaches who support educators and advance student learning across the district.
The Leander ISD Instructional Coaching Program strengthens teaching and learning by facilitating professional growth for educators. Instructional coaches serve as campus-based liaisons between district support staff and instructional teams, helping bridge the gap between learning new strategies and applying them in the classroom. Through goal setting, data collection, and reflective analysis, coaches play a vital role in ensuring that professional learning leads to meaningful instructional impact.
“Our instructional coaches are truly an anchor within the culture of support and learning in our district,” said April Chauvette, Leander ISD director of professional learning.
LISD instructional coaches serve as peer partners, providing a safe, collaborative space where teachers can focus on growth and “fail forward” as part of the district’s commitment to Continuous Improvement. Their ongoing support empowers educators to refine their practice and, ultimately, enhance outcomes for every student.
#1LISD salutes all of our instructional coaches this week and always. Thank you for your support of our educators and students!
