Faubion ES: Celebrating 40 Years

In the fall of 1976, Leander ISD opened its second elementary school and named it after a long-time teacher and supporter of the district – Ada Mae Faubion. Forty years later, Faubion Elementary School kicked off the 2016-17 school year with a special anniversary celebration.

LISD State Girls Soccer

At the LISD Board Meeting May 4, 2017, the Rouse High School and Vandegrift High School girls’ soccer teams were recognized for their success at the state UIL tournament. Both teams advanced to the semi-finals round.
