From Oct. 31 – Nov. 4, Leander ISD celebrates Instructional Coach Appreciation Week. The instructional coaches in our district are dedicated to providing resources and support to teachers and students, significantly influencing each campus.
According to Coordinator of Professional Learning Programs and Leadership Development Lacey Delgado, instructional coaches work collaboratively with campus principals and district staff to support teachers in continuously improving teaching and learning. As a liaison between the district’s Teaching and Learning Department and campus, the instructional coach provides support for district curriculum, instruction, assessment, professional learning, and continuous improvement through coaching cycles and just-in-time collaboration.
“Our instructional coaches have servant’s hearts and help others be their best selves,” Delgado said. “Thank you Leander ISD instructional coaches – you go above and beyond every day for our students and staff.”
