Raise your brush for Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Jose Cano Arias!
Jose’s talent is flourishing at Running Brushy Middle School. As a thoughtful designer, he goes above and beyond the project requirements in Advanced Art. With wisdom, patience, intelligence and kindness, Jose puts a lot of mental effort into his two- and three-dimensional designs.
“Jose applied and got accepted into an Advanced Art class in May for his seventh-grade year,” Running Brushy MS Visual Arts teacher Alyson Rhodes said. “With Texas History as one of his favorite subjects, he created a cardboard replica of Stephen F. Austin’s house in my art class (as seen in the photo). I love that Jose is finding ways to bridge connections between the subjects that interest him.”
What a masterpiece! Congratulations Jose Cano Arias–#1LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
