Fifth grader Paxton Smith is the Leander ISD Super Kid of the Week. He consistently demonstrates integrity, along with many other admirable qualities.
Knowles Elementary Nurse Donna Soto volunteers as a crossing guard in the mornings. She noticed that every morning, Paxton walked his bike to school—that way, he could carry not only his own backpack and lunchbox, but also his brother Walten’s. By doing this, Walten could safely ride his scooter to school.
In addition to being a caring older brother, Paxton greets everyone he sees when he arrives at school, always showing others respect and doing everything with a great attitude.
Soto said that Paxton is an amazing brother who always does the right thing, even when he doesn’t know that anyone is watching.
“Paxton exemplifies the true Wrangler spirit,” Soto said. “I’m proud to know he represents Knowles in and out of school.”
Paxton loves playing soccer and football, and is a Chiefs and Astros fan.
