It takes the collaborative efforts of many to turn a vision into a reality. Great things are happening at Larkspur Elementary, and their PTA has been there since before the doors opened to support teachers, staff, and community.

Larkspur PTA President Parisa Kennedy has led the charge in establishing the school’s PTA program. She recruited a devoted group of individuals for the PTA Board and Committee Volunteers who have got Larkspur off to a fantastic start.

“It has been great partnering with Parisa and our PTA to establish a welcoming community at Larkspur,” principal Tracie Montanio said. “We are going to have an EPIC year!”

The PTA hosted social gatherings over the summer to allow Larkspur families to meet before the school opening. They provided lunch and other goodies to teachers to show they care and organized the fulfillment of school supplies for Larkspur families. Besides providing leadership and guidance, Parisa has also established a strong online presence to keep families informed about PTA happenings.

Because of her unwavering dedication in service to students, Leander ISD recognizes Parisa Kennedy as Volunteer of the Week.
