Joey Losurdo, a fourth-grade student at Naumann Elementary, is this week’s LISD Super Kid. His “superpower” is #5 – Concern for Others. Joey goes above and beyond in his academics but also when it comes to putting others before himself.
“Joey shows leadership skills and a passion for helping others,” teacher Bridgette Shackelford said. “He is a great example of the students in Leander ISD.”
Recently, Joey got caught being kind. He heard that a student was upset because a specific book was unavailable at school. Joey went out of his way to go home, find the book, and bring it back to school for him. Besides being an awesome kid, Joey plays football and participates in Quest and Pace math.
Congratulations, Joey! Thank you for being a shining example for Naumann as an LISD Super Kid!
