Leander ISD offers a profound โthank youโ to Anitra Tovar, LISD’s Volunteer of the Week.
Anitra leads the volunteer team at Bagdad Elementary. She has become an essential part of the school community, reading to students and leading a Destination Imagination team. Anitra flexes her sewing talents, making costumes for the school play and dresses for the Ballet Folklorico team.
โAnitra is always there when we need her to step in to support our students and school to make it a better place to learn,โ Principal Christy Hilbun said. โAnitra should be named โSuper Volunteerโ!โ
