Leander ISD fifth-grade students are finishing up tours of middle schools, deciding on electives and meeting new faces. As they start to close the books on elementary school, so are some of their outstanding parents, many of whom have invested years of support into our campuses.
A great example of our selfless parents is our LISD Volunteer of the Week, Jenni Sellers. Jenni serves the Reagan Elementary PTA in many ways, but may leave the biggest shoes to fill as the chair for the PTA carnival. For the past four years, she has helped turn the school carnival into a premiere event. As Jenni’s fifth-grader prepares to leave Reagan, so is Jenni.
“She will be missed,” Reagan Elementary receptionist Kim Gogulski said. “We would like to thank Jenni for her years of selfless service.”
