Leander ISD is excited to announce the continuation of Leander Virtual Learning Academy for the 2023-24 school year. For students in elementary and middle school grades, the Virtual Learning Academy offers small class sizes, synchronous learning, and digital and hands-on-learning experiences that align with Leander ISD’s curriculum. Note: The Virtual Learning Academy still has vacant seats in grades 2 -8. Applications will continue to be accepted in any grade level that has not yet met capacity. Once capacity is reached a waitlist will be implemented. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.
All new and current virtual learning students need to apply. While the Virtual Learning Academy has limited enrollment capacity, admission is not based on order of application submission. All submitted applications will be reviewed for program eligibility under state and local guidelines. Eligible students will be placed into a grade-level blind lottery and selected on a grade-level basis until enrollment reaches capacity. Upon reaching grade-level capacity, students who applied after May 26, 2023 will be placed on a waiting list.
