District Continues to Enforce Mask Protocols

LISD will continue to enforce mask protocols and social distancing requirements that have been in place this school year and we will continue to provide a mask for any student who enters a campus without one. For more information, click here

Expanded Virtual Learning Options for 2021-2022 Secondary Students

LISD will be moving forward in the expansion of a permanent online school offering at the secondary level, including the creation of a Virtual Learning Academy.

The LISD Board of Trustees has a pair of special meetings this week, March 9 and March 11. The Board will conduct its next regular meeting March 25.

Jurassic Quest is invading the HEB Center March 12-28

More than 70 photorealistic dinosaurs are ready to return from extinction and invade Austin, as the Jurassic Quest Drive-Thru will migrate to the H-E-B Center at Cedar Park from March 12-28. Leander ISD is now accepting applications for the Foreign Exchange Student (FES) Program for the 2021-22 school year.

School Quality Survey Deadline Extended

The 2021 School Quality Survey has been extended to March 28. Help us make our schools work for you and your family! Take the survey to share feedback about student and academic support, school leadership, safety, family involvement, and more. All responses are strictly confidential.

Bad Weather Make-Up Day

April 12 will be a regular school day to make up for the snow day on Jan. 11. Students need the minutes and staff contracts require employees to make up the time, therefore, we will use the bad weather makeup day allocated in our calendar. For our secondary students, this will be an A day.
