Leander ISD’s theatre students walked the red carpet in style, picking up wins in six different categories of the Heller Awards for Young Artists April 17 at the Long Center.
Vista Ridge High School’s Chanse Solis won Best Supporting Actor – Female Category for her fabulous Little Sally in Urinetown! The Rangers’ musical production also picked up wins in Best Musical Direction and Best Orchestra.
Best Supporting Actor – Male Category went to the incredible Autry Bushong for his portrayal of Uncle Fester in Rouse High School theatre’s production of The Addams Family.
Walking away with the Student Stage Management award was Cedar Park High School’s Charlotte Adair for her incredible work on Elf: The Musical.
Leander High School’s Matilda took the award for Best Scenic Design.
