Dedicating North Elementary School
Leander ISD held a dedication ceremony Monday, Oct. 17, 2022 for its 29th elementary school, North Elementary School, which opened in Fall 2022. In her 22-year career in Leander ISD, the school’s namesake, Carol Ann North, taught kindergarten at Block House Creek and Knowles elementary schools, and Pre-K at Whitestone Elementary.

Festival of Bands 2022 Puts on a Show
Bands from Leander ISD’s six high schools performed Monday, Oct. 3, at Gupton Stadium. To close the night, the high school bands were joined on the field by their middle school counterparts for a grand finale.
