Leander ISD Athletics is honored to name Grant Anderson from Stiles Middle School, as the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Grant is a seventh-grade standout on the Spartan football and cross country teams. As the “A Team” quarterback and linebacker, Grant helped secure a tough game against Wiley. In Stiles’ latest game against Leander, Grant had three touchdowns. In the most recent cross country meet, Grant finished second overall for seventh-grade boys.
In addition to his excellence in athletics, Grant is a straight-A student who challenges himself with multiple Pre-AP courses.
Coach Jonathan Blissit describes Grant as “Grant is an outstanding athlete and a very hard worker,” Stiles coach Jonathan Blissit said. “He is a true pleasure to coach every day.”
