Leander ISD is proud to recognize Canyon Ridge Middle School’s Drew Mestemaker as the LISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Drew is a 7th-grade standout on the Eagle football and basketball teams who is recognized by his coaches as an integral part of the football program’s success this season.
“Drew is an upstanding young man who truly cares about the well-being of others,” CRMS coach Rustin Feller said. “He leads by example on the field and in the classroom. Our entire staff is proud to be associated and represented by this young man”.
In addition to his role in athletics, Drew participates in PE PALS in the Adaptive PE class and is a straight-A student.
