Gavin O’Dell, an 8th-grader from Henry Middle School, is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Gavin is a multi-sport athlete, participating on the Henry Hawk football, basketball and track teams. He is currently a starter on the “A” basketball team, and he was the quarterback on the “A” football team. Outside of athletics, Gavin is very active in FFA.
“Gavin excels as a leader for the Henry Hawk program,” Boys Athletic Coordinator Matt Garver said. “He is an amazing young man and is very deserving of this award.”
