A kickoff dinner for the LISD Aspiring Leader Program, a partnership with Concordia University Texas, was held earlier this month to honor the more than 40 Leander ISD instructional staff members recommended by their principals for having leadership potential.

Through this program, a chance for the district to grow leaders from within, participants will have the opportunity to complete a Masters of Education degree with a specialization in education administration. The LISD Aspiring Leader curriculum will offer district-specific coursework, preparing students to advance in their careers with a distinctly LISD-oriented approach. The courses will be housed out of Cedar Park High School, taught by both Concordia faculty and LISD leadership.

Those recognized at the dinner will now have the option to fill out an application for the Summer 2018 Cohort.

Good luck to these aspiring leaders!
