Leander ISD is proud to announce Leander Middle School’s Michael Lopez as the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Michael is a seventh-grade member of the Leander Middle School cross country, basketball, track & field, and soccer teams. In addition to participating in four sports, Michael is in band and participates in the STEM Gateway program. In the classroom, Michael challenges himself by enrolling in Pace Math and QUEST courses.
“Michael is an excellent example of a student-athlete,” Leander Middle School Boys Athletic Coordinator Greg Steger said. “He is a strong leader and role model and we are proud to have him represent Leander Middle School.”
