Austin Muchow at Four Points Middle School is the Leander ISD Student-Athlete of the Week.
Austin is an eighth grade member of the Falcon football, basketball, track and soccer teams. He is also a member of the National Junior Honor Society and Fellowship of Christian Athletes, and is a saxophone player in the FPMS band.
Four Points MS Boys Athletic Coordinator Glen Bridgewaters said that Austin is a great leader not only within the athletics program, but on campus as well.
“Austin is going to be great at whatever he sets his mind to because of his awesome work ethic and dedication to the pursuit of perfection. He is a great representation of what being a student athlete truly entails,” Bridgewaters said. “From working hard in practice for sports or getting extra practice time in band, Austin pushes himself to be the best he can possibly be. It has been our pleasure to coach him these last two years and we look forward to watching him at Vandegrift.”
