Agricultural Science Teacher Shannon Tidwell at Vandegrift High School is the Career and Technical Education Teacher of the Month for March.
According to Work-Based Learning Coordinator Sarah Spradling, Shannon not only works seamlessly with her department, but is an amazing asset to the VHS campus as a whole. Shannon and her team of students are trusted to craft arrangements for important occasions, including CASA’s Annual Casablanca Gala.
“Shannon’s positive energy, enthusiasm and professional skills have served to grow the floral design program, in addition to her skilled leveraging of social media to promote her students’ accomplishments,” Spradling said. “Shannon actively seeks opportunities for her students to get hands-on in creating beautiful designs for large events outside of Vandegrift, creating stunning designs for weddings, meetings and fundraisers.”
