From Jan. 10-13, all six Leander ISD high school dance team captains represented the district as All-State members at the Texas Dance Educators’ Association convention in Houston.
The dance team captains are Sarah Lellis from Vista Ridge High School, Lexi Nielson from Rouse High School, Madison Howard from Vandegrift High School, Jayden Morgan from Cedar Park High School, Kaely Smith from Glenn High School and Alex Schiller from Leander High School. These All-State dancers participated in an exciting convention experience that included dance workshops, leadership training, master classes and networking with other students. The experience culminated in a performance choreographed by a master choreographer.
Captain Madison Howard was awarded the Founders scholarship.
