From May 13-17, Leander ISD is celebrating Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) Appreciation Week!
“We are thankful for our incredible SLP team! Their dedication and expertise have a profound impact on the students they serve,” Assistant Superintendent of Special Programs and Services Kimberly Waltmon said. “Because of their work, students have access to meaningful learning experiences and can communicate effectively with others.”
Lead SLP Jenny Blackmon said that LISD’s team of SLPs emphasize connecting with and empowering students to communicate in their best way possible.
“Communication is more than just words; it’s the essence of connection,” Blackmon said. “Let’s celebrate Speech Pathology Week by honoring all of the ways we listen to and communicate with each other.”
