From September 18–22, Leander ISD is celebrating Campus Technologist Appreciation Week alongside National Information Technology Professionals Week.
Leander ISD has 26 campus technologists who serve across the district’s campuses, providing direct technical support to over 40,000 students and staff members.
Director of Hardware and Software Support Matt Prause said that Leander ISD’s Campus and District Techs are some of the most dedicated individuals he’s had the privilege to work with.
“They are passionate about serving others and strive to provide an excellent customer experience in every interaction,” Prause said. “Our technicians work tirelessly to ensure that each teacher, staff member and student has access to the technology they require for success.”
The Leander ISD Technology Department’s mission revolves around a Focus on student success, the cultivation of a continuous improvement mindset, the development of partnerships through effective two-way communication flow, the improvement of efficiency and the alignment of resources to district goals, and the creation of feedback loops to anticipate technology needs.
The department has also earned the district the Trusted Learning Environment Seal for its commitment to protecting student data privacy.
