Due to the recent winter ice storms and lost instruction days, the end of the 5th six-week grading period was extended to next week, April 9.
After losing a week of school due to the ice storms in February, principals asked if we could extend the current grading period to create more opportunities for students. Our schools and coaches communicated these changes and the impacts on student eligibility for UIL programs earlier this month.
At the April 8 school board meeting, the Board of Trustees approved the waivers that allow us to end the school year on schedule without adding make-up days due to the recent winter ice storms and lost instruction days.
