To know where we are going, we need to know where we have been. Trustee Aaron Johnson has given a decade to our Leander ISD Board of Trustees, serving since 2011 in multiple roles. As a long time professional in the Austin tech industry, member of the Texas Bar Association, and a parent of three Leander ISD students and one graduate, Aaron brings a futuristic strength with historical knowledge to our school board.
With an analytical and logical focus on problem solving and governance, Trustee Johnson had served on a school board when voters passed our first school bond election in a decade. He led in our community when we had 32,000 students and the growth by 8,000 students during his tenure. He’s been a part of a team that’s hired two superintendents, opened six schools, and impacted thousands of graduates.
