Sing… and play your heart out, Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week Noah Levine!
In his four years at Vandegrift High School, Noah has participated in a variety of musical organizations and ensembles. He has performed with the VHS Chamber Choir, Varsity Mixed Choir and Varsity Tenor Bass Choir for the past three years. Singing isn’t his only jam. Noah also serves as drum major and plays saxophone in the nationally recognized Vandegrift HS Viper Marching Band and Symphonic Band. Noah also performs with the Vandegrift Jazz band, and in 2020 was awarded first alternate to the Texas All-State Jazz Band playing electric guitar.
In 2019, as a first-year choir member, Noah competed in the Texas Music Educators Association All-State Choir audition process and made the Texas All-State Tenor-Bass Choir! This achievement is considered the height of success for choir participants.

Noah also advanced as a finalist in the VHS Choir solo competition during his sophomore and junior year and was a semi-finalist for the VHS Band solo competition.
“Noah is an outstanding student and musician in the VHS Choir and Band programs. He serves as a leader in both programs and has an outstanding work ethic,” Vandegrift HS choir director Michael Zook said.

- In 2019, Noah was a guest performer at the TEDx Youth Austin Event
- In Spring 2019, Noah won a national Jewish songwriting competition, granting him the opportunity to perform at the four-day-long Songleader Leadership Conference in St. Louis.
- Noah has released three original albums on global music platforms.
