For coloring our world with shades of excellence, brushes up for Fine Arts Student of the Week Michaela “Mitch” Weimer!
Mitch has excelled in art throughout her high school career at Leander High School. The senior currently is taking Studio Art and AP Art History courses. Mitch’s teachers describe her as a student who always comes to class with a very positive attitude. She encourages her peers and is always ready to try new things. In her AP class, Mitch takes initiative in class discussions and her organizational skills contribute to her success.
“Mitch Weimer truly exemplifies the characteristics of a model art student,” Leander High School art teacher Misti Schulz said.
