Leander ISD is proud to announce Leander High School choir standout Madison Cook as the Fine Arts Student of the Week. Madison, a junior, has been in the Leander Choir for three years. During this time, she has been a member of the TMEA Region choir, a choir council representative, show choir dance captain and choir vice president.
Madison is a member of two varsity ensembles, Lionheart and Leander Legacy Show Choir, and she is expanding her music knowledge by taking AP Music Theory. Outside of the classroom, Madison is an accompanist and piano teacher and on student council.
“Madison gives her best during every rehearsal,” said LHS Choir Director Chrissy Williams. “She works with her peers in a positive way that helps us reach new goals. She is a wonderful role model and she never lets a challenge stop her from achieving. Our choir is lucky to have someone so willing to lend a helping hand.”
Congratulations to Madison Cook, the Leander ISD Fine Arts Student of the Week!
