A small part for a truly small actor is causing a big scene for Kamryn Tatum! The Block House Creek Elementary School fifth-grader is stealing the show as our LISD Fine Arts Student of the Week.
Kamryn had the chance to work with Rouse High School students in their production of “Les Miserables” in the role of Young Cosette. She exemplified great leadership in dedicating months of preparation.
“Keeping up with her grades and spending time with her family help keep her balanced in the world of academics and the arts,” Block House Creek Elementary performing arts teacher Mary Ann Loesch said. “We are very proud of how hard Kamryn works to be a leader in all areas!”
At the end of the day, Kamryn shows a heart full of love for music as an active member of the BHC Show Choir and Honor Choir. She has been involved in several Block House Creek Elementary productions such as “Aladdin Kids” and currently, “Willy Wonka Kids.”
For belting out the best of kindness, hard work and contagious positivity, a round of applause for our Fine Arts Student of the Week Kamryn Tatum!
