Leander ISD is proud to announce Cedar Park High School’s Iriyana Lipkin as the LISD Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week. Iriyana is a senior standout in the CPHS Broadcast Journalism program.

She began her career in journalism as a reporter before becoming the CPHS digital content manager, overseeing all of the CPHS digital platforms, including social media. Iriyana helped double subscribers to the program’s YouTube page and boosted Twitter engagement. She now serves in the department’s top leadership position, executive producer, in which she oversees the production of shows, edits student stories and helps decide what makes or doesn’t make the broadcast.

“Iriyana has been a forced to be reckoned with since she joined the CPHS News staff as a sophomore,” said broadcast adviser Anthony Garcia. “Her passion for excellence, culture and politics has infused our broadcast with a dynamic energy that people have loved. As a senior, she’s excelling in her role as our executive producer by pushing our program into an innovative and modern direction. I can’t wait to see what she accomplishes after high school!”

Congratulations to CPHS standout Iriyana Lipkin, the Leander ISD CTE Student of the Week!
