It didn’t take long for Cedar Park High School sophomore Aashna Ravi to rise to leadership and be recognized as Leander ISD’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) Student of the Week!

At the end of her freshman year, CPHS Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) elected Aashna as historian. She shows tremendous responsibility in record-keeping for the HOSA chapter scrapbook. Attending every chapter meeting and nearly every HOSA volunteer event, Aashna shows her dedication and ambition to serve others.

“Aashna is an amazingly kind, hard-working, and positive person that has a keen ability to create solutions to problems, act as a mentor to her peers, and utilize her intrinsic motivation to lead others,” CPHS science and CTE teacher Shannon McPherson said.

Not only has Aashna shared her gifting with HOSA, she carried over her student council experience from middle school and joined the high school council as the administrative director. She also works with a diverse group of students to develop practical and effective solutions at our school.

“She keeps detailed and meticulous minutes for the meeting as well as attendance,” said student council sponsor Adam Babich.  “She is an integral part in the planning and execution of events such as Homecoming and Trunk or Treat.”

Thank you to Aashna Ravi LISD CTE Student of the Week for understanding details in leadership matter just as much as the vision!
