We are excited to recognize Cedar Park High School graduate Aashna Ravi (Class of 2022) as our latest CTE Alumni Spotlight.

During her time in high school, Aashna was part of the Health Science program and also participated in HOSA, a Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO).

“Aashna’s relational skills makes her a valuable member on any team she serves on,” Cedar Park health science teacher Robin Spinelli said. “As an active HOSA member, Aashna competed in several events; served as a HOSA officer on campus; and then she set a goal to run for state officer.”

In 2021, she achieved her goal of becoming a state officer when she was elected as Texas HOSA President. In that role, Aashna was able to travel with other HOSA delegates to Washington D.C. for a National Leadership Conference. In an interview with The Wolfpack, she said serving as president was an eye-opening opportunity.

“My experience also brought increased opportunity, socially in terms of meeting and engaging with people from all over the state,” Ravi said. “In light of everything that has happened with COVID-19 and worker burnout I hope that it inspires more people to take a passionate path in medicine. I do hope that in the future, we can give people greater access to healthcare.”

Aashna is currently enrolled at the University of Texas at Austin, pursuing medicine and health policy. She continues to be active in HOSA and enjoys volunteering in her community.
