Emily Ross-Stokes from Rouse High School is the Leander ISD Student Athletic Trainer of the Week.
Emily is a senior Student Athletic Trainer who has supported the volleyball and girls basketball teams for four years at Rouse. She is a TGCA and TSATA Academic All-State award winner and a member of the National Honor Society.
Rouse High School Athletic Trainer Wayne Lauritzen said that leaders come in all forms, but Emily is a “lead by example” type of leader.
“Emily is consistently looked up to by her peers and praised by the head coaches she has worked under. She serves as our go to student in the athletic training room for all things big and small,” Lauritzen said. “She is a proactive individual that is always thinking about what needs to be done beforehand. Her maturity and reliability will be hard to replace and missed dearly!”
