Cora Richardson is happiest when she is productively busy. She has volunteered for 20 years at Leander ISD (Naumann Elementary, Cedar Park Middle School and Cedar Park High School Band) since her grandchildren were very young.
She’s continued at CPMS Library even after her last grandchild moved to CPHS. She ensures books are cared for and in good condition for students to enjoy. For seven years, she has faithfully donated 4-8 hours of her time every week, tenderly repairing or re-covering library books.
Because of her unwavering commitment in going the extra mile in service to students, Leander ISD recognizes this remarkable individual as Volunteer of the Week.
